Registration
You may register/enroll for the course
at any time throughout the year. Secure
ordering The cost
of your dyslexia course includes the costs of Registration, all the materials,
postage, administrative costs, use of the course website and assessment of your
Assignments. You may order your course materials by credit or debit card through
our secure server link. This secure transaction is carried out by SECPay,
who maintain the highest levels of data encryption protected by firewall technology.
Your course materials
will be mailed to you within 48 hours of our receiving your application. Delivery
times vary from one country to another, but you should allow up to fourteen days.
We guarantee to replace your course materials if the packet should
be lost or damaged in the mail. Can
I pay by check/cheque?
Payment by check/cheque is accepted, and there is a form on which you can type your details. You can then print it out and send
it to us with your check/cheque. (If you do not have a printer, please copy the
information onto a sheet of paper - clearly printed - and send it with your check/cheque.)
Processing your payment by check/cheque will take a little longer (7 to 21 days)
and costs slightly more for some currencies. Payment for the course is not accepted
in installments.
Ordering by invoice If
you wish to order the Dyslexia Certificate course using an invoice from your school,
college or organization, details are here.
See also the note under 'Receipt' below, which is sometimes a less complicated
way of dealing with funding through your school. Receipt
A receipt is provided for all students, after payment
of the costs of the course, for Registration and course fees. This may be passed
to your school for re-imbursement if your school has agreed to fund you.
Feedback We
aim to provide an efficient administrative basis for the course. When we receive
your payment for the course, provided that you have given us your e-mail address
on the application form, we will e-mail you within 48 hours to confirm that your
course materials have been dispatched to you. Each of your five Assignments will
be assessed and your grade sent back to you as soon as possible, normally within
2-4 days. Course materials
All the course materials are included
in the course fee, and there are no other costs apart from the purchase of the
course text book ($16
or £14.60 approx.).
Telephoning us Unfortunately,
as we cover the whole world and all time zones, we do not have the financial resources
to maintain a 24-hour telephone response service while maintaining our course
fees at a reasonable level. However, if there is a query, the e-mail service
is extremely fast, and we always do our best to answer incoming e-mails within
24 hours. Confidentiality
No mention is made of dyslexia on
the pack in which your course materials are sent to you. Completing
the course The recommended
time for completion of your studies is six months, but you should complete the
course within twelve months unless there are exceptional circumstances, when an
extension will be allowed. The
course website Registration for the
course includes full use of our course website and online Discussion Group. The
password which allows you to access the website will be sent to you with your
course materials. Group orders
A 10% discount
is available for group orders for three or more students. First
language not English? A
satisfactory command of the English language is necessary for completion of the
course, although spelling errors will be ignored in the assessment of your Assignments.
