  • Special Education Resources on the Internet - Special Education Resources on the Internet (SERI) is a collection of Internet accessible information resources of interest to those involved in the fields related to Special Education. This collection exists in order to make on-line Special Education resources more easily and readily available in one location. (US).

  • ELK - UK charity delivering dyslexia awareness training in education, community and business settings, as well as running arts based learning workshops for young people and adults to build skills and confidence. ELK believes that all students should be enabled to develop emotionally, physically and intellectually.

  • Rita C. Wright's Teacher Pages - This collection of online teacher resources includes many search engines, online message boards, lesson plans and ideas, educational games, interactive publications and e-journals, and special education resources. The dyslexia section includes informational papers about dyslexia, as well as links to various other sites that discuss the diagnosis and support of dyslexia.

  • Great as Gold - website of stories about famous dyslexic people, written with the help of the author's dyslexic daughter.

  • Materials to teach instructional strategies to students with learning disabilities - An assortment of instructional materials for implementing strategies instruction in your classroom. (from LD Online)

  • The Hornsby Centre (London UK) run courses and have an e-mail shop for resources.

  • Teach Any Child or Adult to Read - Edna Freinkel is principal of the Rebecca Ostrowiak School of Reading in Germaniston, South Africa. Her interesting web site explains the reading program that has been developed. She co-authored a book about the school's program. She is internationally known and has appeared on South African radio and television.
