- Students
First Tutoring Services - provides academic tutoring, remediation, and educational
coaching in a variety of subject areas for children in grades 1 through 8. Specializes
in approaches for students with learning disabilities, attention deficits, and
students not working to their full potential.
Jeanine Schwartz, M.Ed. is a
licensed teacher and is trained in the Orton Gillingham approach for teaching
phonics.
- Oakland School - Founded in 1950, Oakland School is a co-ed, boarding and day school for children with learning disabilities, dyslexia or organizational difficulties. A seven-week summer program is offered in addition to the year-round program.

- Oakwood School - private, non-profit co-educational day school for elementary and middle school students with mild to moderate learning differences. We provide small class sizes with two full-time teachers in each classroom. Some of our students may have dyslexia, attention difficulties, language or visual processing deficits, or difficulty with math. We use a research-based phonics approach for teaching reading.
